Mrs. Ferne's 1st Grade Aztec Suns
First graders were inspired by the mystery of the Aztec Sun Stone to create their own unique clay sun stones. Be sure to ask your little artist what the meaning of his/her sun stone is! Some may be "codes" to secret messages, some may be calendars, and some may just be cool designs! Don't be surprised if the meaning of their sun stones changes; they are thinking creatively and being imaginative!
